    For those of us that do know our craft , I’d say we wouldn’t expect highly polished images. I mean if you know her work then that would be what you expect. To be honest I thought they were very un Nan Golding . Infact in my mind I thought it was Cindy Sherman , I think because Cindy did a campaign for Mac cosmetics. I actually couldn’t say who this series of pictures reminds me of? But I wouldnt say they are bad. They are un pretentious in and of themselves. The hype around them is what is distasteful because the hype is so pretentious. I personally like simple images with good mood. Also Nan has put lots of blood and sweat into her art , why shouldn’t she reap the benefits of any fame her work has generated in copy cat photographers.
