See the LVMH Cloudy Bay Winery Guesthouse in Marlborough, New Zealand

This four-bedroom guesthouse at LVMH‘s Cloudy Bay Winery accommodates visiting wine distributors, retailers and journalists. The sharply protruding structure is called “Shack II” because it replaces the first which burned down in 2009. Framed by two weathered steel walls, the entrance is designed to resemble “someone holding their arms out to welcome a friend.” Upon entering, the visitor is taken in by the warm timber and stone-lined interior flooded with natural sunlight from the floor-to-ceiling opening and walls that act as window blinds. The house faces out toward the vineyard landscape and surrounding Richmond Ranges. A “shack” in true Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy style.
