Timberland & The Rig Out Present Into the Trees Celebrating 40 years of The Yellow Boot

To celebrate 40 years of the Nubuck leather classic now affectionately known as ‘The Yellow Boot’, Timberland are honouring the one the started it all with this great little project from the fellas at The Rig Out. First up, a short film shot in Beaverbrook, upstate New York, featuring Noah Kalina and Mordechai Rubinstein as they travel into the woods to hang out with the crew from Cabin Porn, a group of musicians, artists and the like who enjoy a bit of temporary home construction in the great outdoors. To accompany, a print and online magazine which can be viewed here, shedding a little more light on the project. At the centre of all this celebratory creativity is the Limited Collection. Timberland are set to release three boots, updated classics which include the Super 6″ boot (our personal favourite), the World Hiker and the Super Boot, all available over the next three months. Limited to only 1973 pairs each (to mark the birthday of their yellow bro), keep an eye on the LTD website for more. Press Play.
