Norfolk’s Old Town Return With A Look At Their Latest Additions

We’ve covered Old Town quite a few times on these pages and are always happy to see them pop up in our inbox. For those of you unfamiliar, Old Town is a small workshop based in Norfolk, England who create new versions of old English work and casual clothing for men and women, each piece made to order and available in a range of fabrics. As they explain “To the casual observer Old Town might appear to be simply an exercise in nostalgia, but we hope that the discerning might notice that the garments are essentially useful items with reference points and influences from past costume.” Here we take a look at some of their latest items as well as continuing favourites. We’ve always been particularly impressed with their range of trousers, high-waisted and wider in the leg than your average, the cut perfectly suited to their substantial drills and wools. Not to be overlooked, an excellent selection of work jackets, giving the ubiquitous French version a run for its money, as well as the Hemsby split roll neck collar jumper, a new addition alongside the brilliant Unity jacket and trouser set. Photography from Matt Hind, take a look at it all below.
