Japan’s Varde77 release their Spring/Summer 2014 collection entitled “Seven-and-a-Half.” Designer Hiroyuki Miyata intentionally set no specific concept for the collection so as to not be “tied to a theme, to make pure [clothes] that they want to wear.” Everything from camo, Beacon print, stripes and embroidery unite in one lineup that includes tunics, pajama shirts, tees, denim and light outerwear. Although every piece is unique and different from the other, the collection manages a cohesiveness relevant to the fusion of Japanese-Americana aesthetics. Browse the gallery.
