We take a look at Japanese ceramist Kaori Tatebayashi’s latest collection of handcrafted tableware. From a young age, Tatebayashi has been surrounded by beautiful Japanese pottery through her family’s trade business in Kyoto, a city known for its rich ceramic history. The artist strives to create work that is “fresh and innovative but comfortable to use at the same time.” All of her beautiful pieces are unique, as her molding process produces slightly different objects every time. Beautiful things like this make our daily sipping tea routine a totally new, rewarding experience. See Tatebayashi’s full catalog here.
