UK-Based Cotton Love Swap Old For New With Debut Collection

Newcastle-based Cotton Love, formerly an online shop for well-chosen vintage, look to start something new in every sense, swapping used clothes for a selection of basics for men and women designed by their own fair hands. Duo Nigel and Ruth describe Cotton Love as “as a label which offers functional, easy to wear clothing with a refinement of detailing, honesty of construction and distinguished identity.” With a COS like approach to sharp, contemporary but pared back detail, the debut collection takes in their love of old work wear adding ’90s minimalism and silhouettes inspired by the East. Turning to ever-popular Kickstarter for help, investors can get their hands on this first collection before anyone else. On the men’s side this includes a lightweight cotton twill jacket, collarless overhead shirt, 4 pocket slim-fit chinos and a relaxed fit pleated trouser.
