Hermès continue their creative window series with this incredible installation from Studio Toogood under the direction of designer Faye Toogood. A bloody theme as red takes over the entire ground floor of their flagship Bond Street store, described as an “antidote to West End slickness,” tanks of red resin and expanses of soft red leather are placed against walls of craftsmen’s tools. Celebrating the makers behind their fancy accessories, each tool is scaled up in linear neon and set against drapes made from remnants of Hermès’ iconic silk scarves, covered in scarlet-pigmented resin. Running until December 7, a brave move from the historic brand, take a look for yourself in our gallery.
