Among his many swish vehicles, pride of place for Ralph Lauren, his all-black 1938 Type 57SC Bugatti Atlantic Coupe. In fact, the silver-haired ranch owner is so taken with this old school run-around that it has become the source of inspiration for this new watch, the Automotive Flying Tourbillon. A Swiss automatic 28-jewel Richemont movement with a power reserve of 40 hours, a ‘suspended’ tourbillon, off-centered gilded micro-rotor and vertical Côtes de Genève decoration, the black dial is framed with elm burlwood, encased in black stainless steel and finished off with a black alligator strap. Keep an eye on the site for more.
