After a seven-year lapse, Levi’s produce their 8th RED collection entitled “Lined RED.” Founded in 1999, the last time we saw this line from the well-known denim giant was 2007, when they produced “Rustic RED.” For 2014, the items are all about unique lining, taking inspiration from the brand’s long history of combining classic denim styles with more comfortable fabrics like sheep’s wool. The RED collections are known for being sought-after collector’s items for innovation and delicate construction, and this year is no exception. Lined RED plays with new silhouettes for their denim, and as the brand says themselves, “the result is a series of radical new constructions that suggest Levi’s jeanswear of the future.” As per usual for the RED series, the availability is extremely limited and will only be offered in a few locations worldwide.
