Preview “Cover Story: The New Yorker in Westport” Exhibit

The Westport Historical Society open the exhibit, Cover Story: The New Yorker in Westport. The exhibition showcases 44 covers of the New Yorker from 1925 and 1989 that depict life in Westport, Connecticut, where many of the artists that illustrated for the publication resided at the time. The beautiful covers show a range of different scenes of suburban life that are both familiar and nostalgic, as well as the New Yorker‘s old font that was used before its redesign last year. Go here for more information on the exhibit and visit it at 25 Avery Place, open now until April 26.
