For Fall/Winter 2014, Bosideng continue to define the modern, sophisticated man while keeping to their Chinese heritage. Design director Amelia Pretious drew inspiration from artist Liu Bolin, also known as The Invisible Man. Pretious drew from Bolin’s themes of “urban cover and concealment,” and created a very wearable collection that succeeds in fitting in with the crowd while stylishly straying from the pack. She also collaborated with Shanghai-based artist, Chang Jinchao, on a number of prints and designs that were used on knit sweaters. High breaks on trousers, tailored sweatpants, quilted sweatshirts, and unique outerwear give the Eastern brand a Western flair and a great introduction to the line for those formerly unaware of the popular Chinese brand.
