Filmmaker James Aiken sends us this beautiful short film, a reminder of the incredible beauty found in Northern Europe. Home Ground is best described by its maker, so, in Aiken’s words “Shot during a nautical voyage between Iceland and Greenland, it is a short anthropological film exploring how two very different, but geographically close, cultures relate to one another within a striking and vast natural landscape.” Featuring an Icelandic sailor, Siggi, and a Greenlandic hunter, Dines, this striking film is most definietly worth five minutes of your time. Check out Aiken’s website for more films and some breathtaking photography from his travels.
