Barbour Chart the History of their International Motorcycle Jacket

A classic for over 75 years, Barbour offer a brief look back at the history of the legendary International jacket. Designed specifically for the International Six Day trials (ISDT) in the 1930s, worn by teams globally throughout the 50’s (97% of competitors wore them in the 1957 trials), 60’s and 70’, many will be familiar with images of Steve McQueen and stunt rider Bud Ekins wearing the jacket for the American ISDT Team. For some though the waterproof cover will resonate as a piece of tough-wearing military clothing, standard issue for Britain’s submariners during World War II, the Ursula suit take on the early motorcycle jackets a vintage hunters dream find.
