In the Mail | The Hill-Side, Converse, Clarks

We introduce “In the Mail,” a new series that looks at some of the amazing product we are humbled to receive at the office every week. We kick off with a selection of three shoes that will definitely be in heavy rotation this summer. Check back to see what the mail has to bring next week.

The Hill-Side Chambray Low-Tops

Brooklyn’s The Hill-Side, known for their eclectic offering of ties, scarves, and pocket squares, venture to Japan to produce a pair of sneakers. The low-tops are made from a cotton chambray outer and feature thick white rubber soles and toe caps. These are built to last well past the summer. (Coming soon)

Converse Jack Purcell

This is the summer staple. There’s no way to go wrong with a clean pair of Jack Purcell’s. Athletic and casual, these will go with just about anything — try them next time with a suit.  ($60)

Clarks Wallabee Ridge by Oi Polloi

Wallabee’s are all-season classics. Although these hold up great in the winter, we love these chukkas with a pair of broken-in jeans and a tee for the summer. This limited-edition pair was made with the help of British retailer Oi Polloi. ($107)
