See Robert Crumb’s “Sketchbooks 1964 – 1981″

Great American cartoonist, Robert Crumb, delivers a newly revised version of Sketchbooks 1964 – 1981. The new version, set in a 6-volume box set spanning more than 1,300 pages, was personally edited by Crumb himself and documents sketches from the first half of the underground artist’s career in underground comics and album art. It is a view into Crumb’s process over the span of 17 years. The book set is limited to 1,000 copies and includes a “signed, authenticated color art print of a collectible Crumb original.” Available August 2014 from Tashen books. The set retails for $1,000.
