Introducing Universal Works “Workshop Denim” – Made in England

We take a first look as UK-based label Universal Works announce the release of a new collection of own brand denim under the “Workshop” banner. Moving away from the big two, USA and Japan, manufacturing entirely in Europe, the brand aim to create a more accessible, straightforward, no nonsense product “without the jargon.” 13oz denim woven on vintage looms in Portugal finds its way to British soil where the collection is made. At the centre of the line are their unbranded, unstamped, pre-fade free dark denim jeans in two fits, slim and regular. Alongside you’ll find two jackets, a play on classic pleated numbers via a boxy trucker and a longer length chore jacket. Available from April 4th, keep an eye on the website for more. Head to the gallery and press play below for a closer look.
