Skandinavisk Create Candles Inspired by the Scents of Scandinavia

Remember that time you went to Germany for the Summer and fell in love with Currywurst and decided to stay for the rest of your life? Well, the British-born founders of Skandinavisk, Shaun Russell and Gerry Kingham, had a similar epiphany in Stockholm expect instead of sausages in spicy sauces it was, in their own words, “2 blonde Scandinavian girls” who encouraged the move. Inspired by their love of their new home they’ve produced a line of candles whose new Spring line features scents that range from Ö (“Island” in Swedish), to Sommar (“Summer”) to København (“Copenhagen” in Danish – may or may not smell like babes on bikes and low gender wage gaps). Made from natural and mineral wax, hand-poured into a glass votive, the candles have a burning time of fourty-five hours with all their scents coming out of the perfume capital of the world, Grasse. Sounds like a pretty great recipe to me. Get your home smelling like a million bucks/kroner over here.
