Inside the Hancock Outerwear Pop-up Store, London

Hancock outerwear set up shop for a few days in London’s Covent Garden. Best known for their “Vulcanised Articles,” the brand take their name from Thomas Hancock who, along with Charles Macintosh, created a series of rubber-bonded weatherproof cloths in the 1800s. Using the classic single and double breasted raincoat as a base, the brand offer a selection of bright shades, contrasting color blocks as well as a subdued palette for those who like their rainwear more low-key. A new e-commerce site on its way, the store carries 100 exclusive men’s & women’s hand-made coats many up to 70% off original prices. Bonus.
