Behind the Scenes at Barbour’s South Fields Factory

As you may know, Barbour has been an in-house favorite for a while now, and for good reason. Although the classic British outerwear label is steadily riding the “heritage” wave, they do so with integrity and a colorful history to back it up. Barbour has been producing three timeless waxed cotton coats: the Bedale, Beaufort and Beadnell, in the same South Shields factory since their inception. We get a behind-the-scenes look at how 3,000 coats are made by 36 British factory workers every week.
