In The Mail | Converse, Olivers and Bookman

This week “In The Mail” we find a set of goods that are sure to get a good beating this summer. We’re excited to share some old-school classics from Converse as well as new players like Olivers and Bookman. See our goods below.

Converse Chuck Taylor 1970

Although these may look like some plain ole’ Chucks, think again. The 1970s collection is for the true All-Star enthusiast — these are made as they were in the ’70s with thicker soles, heavyweight canvas uppers and a more substantial toe box. Upon posting this, we’ve already worn the hell out of these guys– definitely picking up another pair. Find them here.

Olivers All Over Short

Olivers’ mission is simple: to make “high-quality, tailored men’s athletic shorts.” It’s great when a company can focus on doing one thing perfectly, and Olivers have done just that. Our very own Jeff Carvalho wore these religiously during a recent trip in Hawaii and found them to be more than just a great athletic short: the four-way stretch fabric made them very functional for casual wear and even trekking through the Waimea Canyon. Highly recommended. Pick up a pair here.

Bookman Cycle Cup Holder

The fact that no one thought of this until now blows our mind. Stockholm-based cycle accessory brand Bookman make a cup holder that easily clams onto your handle bars allowing for easy coffee sipping during your morning commute. Find this and more clever cycle-centric goods here.
