Alexander McQueen continue their collaboration with PUMA with the release of the new PUMA King soccer cleat. The two film a short video documenting the intensive handcrafting process and attention to detail that goes into each pair, from initial design and cutting to molding and finishing. The King has a rich history dating back to the 1960s, and is prided as being ”the market’s longest serving football concept still in existence today.” The new all-leather cleats honor this history while perfectly fusing luxury with sports innovation. The shoes are limited-edition and not available for sale, displayed in a glass case along with a book that records the rich heritage and production process. Press play below.
