Watch the Handmaking Process of Alexander McQueen’s PUMA King Soccer Cleat

Alexander McQueen continue their collaboration with PUMA with the release of the new PUMA King soccer cleat. The two film a short video documenting the intensive handcrafting process and attention to detail that goes into each pair, from initial design and cutting to molding and finishing. The King has a rich history dating back to the 1960s, and is prided as being “the market’s longest serving football concept still in existence today.” The new all-leather cleats honor this history while perfectly fusing luxury with sports innovation. The shoes are limited-edition and not available for sale, displayed in a glass case along with a book that records the rich heritage and production process. Press play below.
