give us the exclusive first look at their customization process of the Flying Spur Bentley
. After seeing the model at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, CH founders Josh Rubin and Evan Orensten traveled to the Bentley HQ in Crewe, England to commission their very own through the carmaker’s innovative bespoke service. Fusing interactive digital technology with one-on-one expert consulting, Rubin and Orensten designed the Kingfisher Flying Spur, inspired by the blue hands of Orensten’s 1960s Omega
watch that his father gifted him. Everything from the interior carpets to the leather upholstery and even the stitchings were carefully chosen by Cool Hunting, although they couldn’t find a way to sneak in their signature green. The car turned out alright though.
You can also experience customizing your own Bentley at the Bentley Studios Visionary Experience installation in New York, going on now through May 25 for Design Week.
