Italian label Blue Blanket is the brainchild of Antonio Di Battista. A consultant for European brands, Di Battista has been collecting denim for over 15 years, starting off as research, building his archive soon became a personal passion. Inspired by standard old school Americana fare; spaghetti westerns, workwear, cowboys and the like, he decided to start his own brand, the name Blue Blanket derived from the idea of comfort and security, ‘Never Without’ a pair of jeans. Combining Japanese and American denim with Italian manufacturing, the small line sticks to raw, unwashed jeans, aimed at those that know.
