Emmy Award-winning producer and composer Deru introduces The Obverse Box, a handheld wooden LED projector designed after a mysterious box of old ephemera found at a flea market. The sculptural object includes a series of short films entitled “Nine Pure Tones” produced by Anthony Ciannamea and featuring Deru’s new music. The first of the nine films is 1979, an eerie short with a sense of nostalgic awe that we’re sure you’ll experience when playing your own visual memories through The Obverse. Learn more about the project here and pre-order the projector here. Ships the week of June 17.
