So many small premium eyewear brands popping up lately (see: Archibald, Monokel and Saint Rita Parlor). Capital Eyewear, hailing from California, strive to establish themselves among this group. Their styles are all handmade of premium acetate and Carl Zeiss lenses, each encased in a genuine leather snap-button case, also handmade. Their regular series ranges from $125 to $195 per pair, and their special limited-editions cost up to $350, a still relatively affordable number in the premium eyewear game.
Here, we take a look at a number of their styles — both acetate and wood — from a variety of tortoise shells to solid mattes. The glasses are extremely lightweight and sturdy, with cleanly-cut, timeless shapes. We like them. You can shop Capital here.
