Frederico Babina Turns Music Into Architecture

Federico Babina masterfully merges two seemingly unrelated industries, architecture and music, in his new series of illustrations. The artist pays respect to 27 great musicians like Michael Jackson and Joy Divison by fusing their characteristics, album covers and song lyrics with physical architectural facades. What inspired Babina was the connection to mathematics and movement that underlie both architecture and music, be it the flow of a building’s plan or the harmonic progression of a song.
