LOEWE by J.W. Anderson Debuts for Spring/Summer 2015

After much chit-chat on the subject we finally get a full look at British designer J.W. Anderson‘s debut collection for Spanish house LOEWE. Described as “a take on hyper-normality: realistic, functional and utterly desirable,” photographer Jamie Hawkesworth heads to Cadiz, capturing the collection in a romantic, androgynous take on the Spring/Summer 2015 season. Casual at its core, Anderson looks to create pieces that work both as objects to be admired and fully wearable separates. Uncomplicated staples including jeans, t-shirts, biker jackets and trench coats follow a color palette inspired by Meccano building blocks, alongside reimagined workwear pieces including collarless grandad shirts and wide-leg turned up denim. Striped ribbed sweaters, tunic tops and bold logo accessories, LOEWE take a new path with Anderson’s “Universal but never generic” direction.
