Casa Futebol – If Brazil’s World Cup Stadiums Were Housing

Now that the World Cup is over, there are a lot of critical eyes waiting to see how Brazil is going to make use of its dozen newly built stadiums. In light of this, many architects have proposed housing alternatives to the now empty halls, turning photographs of the National Stadium of Brazil and Arena das Dunas into renditions with livable units. Colorful pods are stacked on top each other occupying the stadiums’ outer facades, creating a new definition to the idea of apartment living.
