At the VT seaside house, also called House of the Infinite, you look out to the Atlantic from the coast of Cadiz, Spain while swimming or socializing on its gigantic horizontal plane roof. Drawing inspiration from Cadiz’s Roman heritage, the jutting structure is made of the Empire’s commonly used white travertine stone. It has three linear levels whose minimalist design reflect the infinite nature of the ocean’s horizon. On the bottom floor is a series of bedrooms positioned on either side of a communal central space that leads straight out to the beach. The upper level accommodates everything needed for social gatherings, including a spacious living room with a circular skylight, a simple kitchen, a large dining area, and a covered balcony that encourages meals outdoors. Luxurious and breathtaking. See for yourself above.
