A renovated 100 year old townhouse in Kyoto transformed into the latest Leica location as the German company’s march forward continues strong. The traditional two storey location fits in seamlessly within the Gion district of this ancient city, keeping much of the existing wood structure and original features. From bespoke furniture to personalised fans, this short film showcases, not only the impressive cameras on display, but the little touches that set both the Leica brand and the Japanese retail scene apart.
