After Marc Jacobs, Vans now seems to have gotten together with high fashion designer Paul Smith. The pack consists of a Sk8 Hi and a Chukka. The Sk8 Hi comes with an upper made up of brown suede and canvas. The Chukka comes in all grey canvas. Both sneakers feature the signature multicolor stripe pattern of the design as the inner lining and on the back heel and tongue tags. Apparently there will also be an Era and a slip-on in the pack.

Paul Smith is after Marc Jacobs definitely a good fit, because even though they are both high fashion designers they always mix in collaborations and pieces in general which are less expensive then their regular lines. Pics via Footurama.

When Levi's US and Europe do not really seem to be doing much these days, Levi's Japan brings out one interesting project after the other. Recently we have seen the Original Fake Collaboration, before that also the Staple collaboration, and now they got together with Porter to collaborate on a few pieces.

The collection comes in black washed out denim and consists of wallets in different sizes and styles and a waist bag. A nice touch is the red tag on all pieces, a Levi's classic and trademark. Pics via Honeyee.

Here a little announcement about the upcoming exhibition "Highmath" being presented during the next Berlin Fashion Week in January 2008.

The art magazine Arkitip is curating its first exhibition in Germany and as the first external source ever, Wood Wood will design a whole issue of the magazine, which will serve as the exhibition catalog.

The "Highmath" exhibition will be shown from 31st of January till 21st of February 2008 and feature works of Andrew Schoultz, Chris Lindig, Ed Templeton, Evan Hecox, Cody Hudson, CR Stecyk III, Eric Elms, Gary Benzel, Geoff McFetridge, Jo Jackson, José Parla, Josh Petherick, Kaws, Killpixie, Michael Leon, Kevin Lyons, Michael Perry, Parra, Phil Frost, Perks, Peter Beste, Peter Sutherland, Richard Colman, Ryan Waller, Shepard Fairey, Todd  St. John and Steve Harrington.

Both the exhibition and the upcoming Arkitip x WoodWood issue are certainly something to look out for!

Here we present you the latest sneaker by Visvim that just released in Japan - the Visvim Skagway. The Skagway is a rather simple sneaker, inspired in terms of style by the Converse Chuck Taylor. The sneakers entire upper comes in premium white leather, the only color applied is on the back heel. The sneaker comes in four colorways - white/black, white/navy, white/red, white/brown. These are now available at Reinforce.

Super Sunglasses was the up and coming brand this passed summer. In matter of no time they had conquered the best boutiques around the globe and presented the famous Ray Ban Wayfarer model in pretty much every colorway that one could imagine.

Caliroots received the latest series of sunglasses by the Italian brand. Not only do they present strong two-color models of their classic, they also introduce the Eazy frame, which was first introduced with the Caliroots collaboration a while back. The Eazy Frame comes in three solid colorways. Of course each model kept the gold logo tag on the inside, with no logos on the outside.

LA based jewelry company Chrome Hearts and Comme des Garcons got together for a small collaborative collection. The collection consists of jewelry, shirts and t-shirts. Designed by Rei Kawakubo and Chrome Hearts the collection is now available at Dover Street Market.

BANKROBBER GALLERY, London, in collaboration with VANINA HOLASEK GALLERY, are pleased to present for the first time in New York, an exhibition of works by Banksy, on view from December 2nd through December 29th, 2007.

Just in time for the Christmas Season, Dover Street Market London is launching Sparkling Party, a range of special products. Among them also the Comme des Garcons x Kaws collaboration products, that recently launched at Colette. There are also special pieces by Chrome Hearts in the line-up and of the Comme des Garcons "Play" Collection.

Kaws also decorated Dover Street Market with similar artwork that you see on the goods of their collaboration. Furthermore Dover Street Market will release the Gap (Product) Red collection on December 1rst. Here we present you the Processed Indigo and Processed Black Denim. Details include 100% Cotton 14oz Japanese Denim.  Surrender badge on waist band and back pocket detailing. Surrender Embossed Rivets and Button Fly. Subtle Processed Wash Treatments. The denims in this line are the same base selvedge denim used by Neigborhood. The denim is also made in Japan.

Incase has released their protective cover for the iPhone in more colors, actually the CMYK pack. These cases represent the four standard process colors referred to as CMYK or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. In print, these fundamental elements work together in creating the full spectrum of color.

The Incase covers proofed to be some of the most useful and least disturbing ones. Now you finally have some more fun colors in there as well.

Sophnet is about to release some new goods as part of their Holiday 2007 collection. This special release is dominated by their scorpion logo. It features a crewneck sweater, beanie and also sunglasses. Each piece comes in several colorways. The sweater and beanie come in matching colorways and have a nice used look.

Not too long ago we presented to you the Nike AF1 x Head Porter Plus x Serato White Pack (see again here), which consisted of a sneaker and also a matching Serato Set and Head Porter Plus DJ Bag. The DJ bag came in white for the pack, but it also comes in black as part of the Head Porter Plus Fall/Winter 2007 collection.

After the recent opening of the Comme des Garcons, Bape and Visvim flagship stores in Hong Kong, the next Japanese brand is about to enter the line-up. Once again Alife NYC gets together with Reebok, presenting the second collaboration series on the Reebok Court Victory Ball Out. In the first series they presented the Ball Out in a "tennis ball" yellow colorway, cream and orange colorway. This time around they present two fresh new colors, black and pink, with more to follow.

The black and pink colorways have been released in the Alife NYC online store. A great sneaker and both for the colorful and the more subtle type, this collaboration has got something ready.

For Christmas Japanese sneaker brand Ubiq brings a special pack of their popular Grace model, the "Xmas Limited". It comes in three colorways, featuring a mix of plaid and suede on the upper, the perfect winter sneaker.

Inspired by nostalgic childhood references, Origami Clothing has recently collaborated with the Mickey Mouse of monkeys, Curious George. This unique cross is heavily inspired by the iconic images and pastel color ways created by Margaret & H.A. Rey, whose first volume appeared in 1941. Pictures of the curious ape have achieved iconic status including George launching a fleet of origami paper boats into a river as well as George in an astronaut suit launching into space. These paintings of George are printed with high density ink over aqueous coating on a highly versatile fabric, Tyvek. The inside is lined with silk like mesh and RiRi zippers compliment the entire jacket. This tech Jacket is the first of many collaborations with Curious George.

Atelier La Durance is one of those special labels, that keeps their collection very small and sticks to the basics. Also they only make products, where they can be sure they are of the best quality and it would be impossible to make it better. At the same time they only create timeless pieces, that once they entered the collection come back every season. This perfectionism is something we admire about the brand.

Specialized in denim, the brand has also launched a nice knitwear collection and now added a cardigan to it. Made from a cashmere, angora & lambswool mix it features a classic straight cut with a slightly oversized button fastening. It has a ribbed cuff and hem finish and two patch pockets. Using the longer fibers, the tight knit retains its proper shape and softness. The Atelier LaDurance embroidered logo comes in a subtle blue on the chest with a side seam label.

The cardigan is now available in navy blue and grey at Oki-Ni.
