One of the smaller footwear lines tucked inside the (capsule) show was Feiyue Shoes.

The Feiyue Shoe line is nothing close to a new thing. Feiyue was born in Shanghai in 1920 and has been a fashion staple in the streets of China since then. Worn by everyone from martial arts masters to leader, Feiyue began its relaunch into the international market around 2006.

The line and silhouettes  are common but its historical importance in China is not to be understated. As China's development power continues to grow beyond its own borders, so are examples of China's fashion history.

Watch nerds in NYC just hit the jackpot again in NYC

Tiffany & Co. and watchmaker Patek Philippe have announced the opening of a Patek Philippe salon inside the Tiffany's flagship store at 5th Avenue.

To celebrate the salon, Patek Philippe will host a three-day exhibition titled "The Values of a Family Watch Company" on the fifth floor of Tiffany's flagship store from April 24, 2008 to April 26, 2008. The exhibition is scheduled to provide the watch nerds and the public in general, with the most complete and comprehensive set of Patek Philippe timepieces exhibited outside of Switzerland. Thats 160+ years of watch making!

Seeing as the company has been aggressively re-purchasing timepieces missing from their archive, this is sure to be a must see event.

We can actually hardly believe that it took so long for this to happen. Andre Benjamin, aka Andre 3000 from Outkast, is launching his own menswear label, Benjamin Bixby. The brand will be the ultimate Dandy label and will for sure have some interesting alternatives to the current brands out there.

"No photos are available yet, but we can tell you, the collection is inspiring! English traditionalism meets all-American flair. Sportier pieces are inspired by American football team uniforms from the 1930s. More tailored pieces suggest another era when men valued their style, wore clothes that were built to last. The collection was designed by Benjamin himself and each piece reflects his aesthetic -- very well made, with attention to detail and quality. Among the latest releases of Japanese brand Head Porter Plus were the Marine Belts. The entire Spring/Summer 2008 collection has a "marine" inspiration, so the belts were an obvious addition. They come in three colors with leather finishing and embossed logo. These are so classic, that you can really do nothing wrong! Pics via Revolution Information.

Once again artist Takashi Murakami has released new prints of his works in the Honeyee store. This time, instead of his various cartoon characters, the prints feature his drawings of mens faces. As usual with a strong Japanese edge.

We present you one of the latest Fred Perry collaborations, this time with Japanese designer Tomoki Sukezane. The collaboration consists of two (black and white) pique polo shirts that come with matching tonal ties. Also the polos feature a chest pocket with the Fred Perry logo embroidery and a clip on the tie. Via Openers.

We present to you the first part of the Neighborhood Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Entitled "Ex Series Delta", the new collection consists of an array of nice pieces. Our personal favorites are the patchwork pieces, such as the M-65 jacket, and also the strong line-up of shirts with interesting cuts and patterns.

Expect the new Neighborhood S/S '08 collection to hit stores later this month. After the jump a selection of the new collection.

The Neighborhood Spring/Summer 2008 collection is about to get into stores. As a first teaser the brand will be releasing the Delta Stadium Jacket in their own webstore. Pre-orders are starting today and delivery will be as of Mid March.

Since everyone knows what it`s like to buy off the rack, we set up an appointment with their “Personally Pink” made-to-order service.   Pink sells luxury shirts in locations around the world, but only seven participate in the program. Thankfully one was in our own backyard.  Camera in hand, we headed for Thomas Pink`s Madison Avenue store to see what we could learn about “custom shirting.”

UK brand Garbstore is about to open its first flagship store in London later this month. Here we have first pictures of the store, for now only of the basement, but it's already looking really good.

In recent years we finally see some brands turning their back on the otherwise mostly Marketing driven fashion market. They return to their core principles of making good product. The interview that we wrote about this morning with Visvim Designer Hiroki Nakamura nicely demonstrated that, and Garbstore is for sure a brand that belongs in the very same category.

Recently we showed you the Visvim Jokhang collection, consisting of the FBT and the Christo. Now we give you a preview of other styles of the Visvim Spring/Summer 2008 footwear collection, that will be releasing over the next couple of months.

The S/S '08 collection has several themes. There is a Mayan theme, which comes on the Christo and the Kiefer Hi. The Patala theme comes also on the Kiefer Hi, featuring a zipper on the upper, in several colors. Furthermore Visvim introduces the Logan Deck Lo, a basic sneaker taking its inspiration from the Vans Era. We also show you the Logan Lo CVS and the Lama Sandal from the Folk collection. The Raf Simons x Eastpack collaboration collection, that we presented to you already a couple of months ago has now been released at Oki-Ni. They got in several different backpack styles as well as a duffle style backpack. Innovative cuts, as well as colors, make this collaboration stand out. With the constant feed of Head Porter luggage, the collaboration is a nice alternative.

With their Spring/Summer 2008 collection, Japanese brand Visvim also introduces a new collection, the Folk Line. Continuing their constant strive to make the best product out there, they certainly go the right direction with the Folk Line, which only uses natural leathers. Honeyee sat down with Hiroki Nkamura from Visvim and talked to him about the new line, what the idea behind it is and what we can expect to come from it. Read it here.

The Honeyee store has now also received the first shipment of the Head Porter Plus Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Most of it we have already presented to you earlier on, here the pieces that you have not seen so far. Another naval inspired t-shirt has been released. Also they released the 3D shirt, which is in essence a shirt cut short much like a denim jacket. Both pieces come in an array of colors.
