While much of the world is speeding things up, hoping on track bikes and championing the "oneness" achieved through fixed gear, Evisu slows it down. With Dutch Bicycle manufacturer Grand 1888, they've developed a special edition bespoke cruiser. Everything on the bike is handcrafted from the steel frame to the gold plackets on the mud guard. The bikes are all individually numbered and come with a limited selvedge constructed Evisu bike duffel. 

Another Eastpak showcase from BBB Barcelona. Raf Simons for Eastpak Spring 2009 is being previewed. The line, which takes a touch of a departure from the last with their take on a mesh material against backpacks and duffles. No doubt this relationship will continue to output successful collections.

Eastpak is showcasing a variety of collaborations at Bread and Butter Barcelona. We'll start by previewing the Spring 2009 Eley Kishimoto collaboration which takes the hounds tooth pattern into a cowlick style swirl across blues, reds, and blacks. A very nice look for the coming spring.

We are pleased to offer a preview of the bike bags from Freeman Transport. Freeman Transport bikes are hand built in Missoula, Montana. The steel frame is completed with S and S couplings, allowing the bike to be broken in half for airline travel. Hence, the need for a quality carrying bag.

Made of waxed cotton and leather, the bags can be worn as a backpack or carried via handle. Each bike from Freeman comes with one of the bags, and both are made in America!

Benjamin Eyewear's Benjamin Montoya has a reputation of being purveyor of eyewear in Los Angeles for the last 10 years. In his words, "A Most dynamic thing happens when a person put on a well-crafted pair of sunglasses, they can project a vision of who they want to be instantly." Very true. Cazal sunglasses have created a big movement and have become collector pieces among eyewear afficionados. Today we certainly see a huge trend towards vintage eyewear again, especially of eyewear coming from the 70's and 80's. Even though Cazal has never really been gone, the brand has come back strong in recent months. Their Dita collaboration has been really well received, but their vintage pieces still generate most interest.

This year they are presenting a Vintage Collection, which consists of the 901, 904 and 946 model, each coming in classic colorways. Via Openers.

Tanner Goods have been storming the market with no sign of weakness. Their latest satchel bags for this summer feature a newly re-deisgned fastener and closure "modeling it closely after loop and strap systems common in military applications." Available in tan, brown, and black. We're big fans.

Blackbird Seattle did some treasure chest digging and uncovered a nice collection of vintage Playboy eyeglass frames. These "deadstock" frames feature the Playboy logo on the frame side and come available in amber, black, and clear.
