Beams+ is part of the Japanese retailer Beams, and operates under the "American Life Shop" slogan. The shop brings American brands with heritage to Japan and presents every once in a while interesting collaborations with such brands and produces as well their own goods.
This weekend Beams+ released their own branded "Chambray Work Shirts". They present the classic shirts in two colorways and as usual every detail is just right. From the bottons to the pockets, we have nothing to complain. Just a great shirt that will never go out of style.

I love ad campaigns. I'm an Adsoftheworld junkie to be honest. Like everything fashion, you need some drive to get the word out. Fashion ad campaigns are usually some of the boldest when it comes to style, celebrity, and emotion. Men.style thinks so too. Browns got in a good range of the new Number (N)ine Fall/Winter 2008 collection. We take a look at the Japanese brand's coats for the season.
We like the fusion of materials that come out of work-wear with more luxurious materials, such as fur, in the case of Number (N)ine. Especially the "Check Coat" (above left) caught our eye. Perfect for the colder months.
Japanese brand Victim in collaboration with Schott NYC as part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection has released the sleek "Melton M-65 Jacket".
The M-65 jacket comes in three colorways and without lining, which is probably the only negative thing that we can find about the jacket. In terms of looks very convincing and a great modern interpretation of this classic.

It looks like the much anticipated Gram SE line is starting to make its way from the hype machine to retail. Available in two options: black or white. Simple enough. And from their own press release, it would seem they're as excited as us. "Only 800 white and 800 black Gram SE sneakers came off the factory line to supply earth. Every pair of shoes is individually numbered and meant to be the symbol of individual style. Presented in a special box, white pairs have a white box, black pairs have a black box, also each shoe has an extra pair of soles each with a freshness seal and a waterproof ruck sac also color coordinated to match." Opening Ceremony launches a great benefit project which brings attention to China with an Olympic vibe. As OC's co-founders mention on their guest blog For the Moment , "We feel strongly that sports and music go hand-in-hand, we decided to ask some of our favorite musicians to give us an inspirational lyric that gets them pumped-up and ready for any competition. These lyrics will be screened onto a limited number of T-shirts and available, starting on the 8th, at our stores. The proceeds from this project will go towards a China earthquake relief fund."
Each of the artists involved in the t-shirt project for Opening Ceremony created the font face used and chose the lyrics. Look for shirts from the likes of Sonic Youth, M.I.A, Vampire Weekend, and others.
