Omega, the official time keeper of the Beijing Olympic games has built a impressive 2500 sq/ft Omega Pavilion. Opened on August 4th on the Olympic Green, the Omega Paviliion is not only a showcase of Omega timepieces but is also a historical celebration of their timekeeper's equipment by Omega that has been involved with the Olympics since as far back as 1932. The two story Omega Pavilion is open daily from 10:00-23:00. Well worth a visit if you are attending the Games or visiting Beijing.

We first got an eye view of the new watch line TSOVET at (capsule) NYC. Our initial thoughts were that they borrowed well from other major chronomasters but once it is on your wrist you discover an alternative beauty thats ready for all. Switzerland's Linde Werdelin pronounces their watches - the Elemental and Two Timer - as "the only true sports watch of today." Their claim is a strong one seeing as their watches allow for the attacement of a variety of Instruments to the face of their chronos. Example: the "Land Instrument" is a a basic avalanche sensor that captures temperature changes for the mountaineer and skiier. Their "Sea Instrument" is a dive computer with a transreflective screen. France was indeed knocked out of the Euros in a death match (being one man down) against the Italians, but that is not stopping IWC from celebrating and commemorating the successful career of long time footballer - France's own, Zinedine Zidane.
