What was behind the decision to not do any advertising?

PP: I don't know if it was such a decision at the time. We were happy to be small and it also just seemed counter intuitive to what the brand stands for which is the product. The word of mouth approach has worked for us so far.

What made you want to move into more formal footwear (i.e the Brogues and boots in the AW08 collection)?

PP: We both had the desire to actually wear more formal footwear and somehow it just made sense. It also sort of flipped the idea of the company a bit and we liked that.

After your own specially designed section at Den, do you have plans on opening any stores?

PP: I think we always sort of fantasize about this.

Is there anyone in the public eye who you’d like to wear your trainers?

PP: Do you wear CP's? I don't know. I like that all kinds of folk wear them.

You featured bags for a season, would you make more?

Yes. I need another bag.

Do you plan on expanding into items other than footwear in the future?

Yes. We don't really consider ourselves a shoe company.
