Bonhams NY is auctioning off what could be a one of a kind Tiffany’s item. This fixed gear Tiffany’s bike was built sometime during the 1890’s and sports what are essentially the same components found on modern day fixed gears: Brooks Saddle, a hand brake,and fixed rear cog. What is simply outstanding on this bike is the lugging which needs to be seen to believe. Pre-auction estimates put the Tiffany’s fixed gear somewhere in the neighborhood of 50k-70k$US.
