Eastern Standards: Western Artists in China explores the rapid industrialization of China and the issues facing the nation and region as globalization takes hold. Artists from Europe and North America engage with the subject in a variety of media and from different points of entry. Of note is Catherine Yass’ massive video installation of the Three Gorges Dam. Along with the exhibition, an extensive documentary film series isalso scheduled.
