William Massie, the head of architecture at Cranbrook Academy of Art, takes a divergent path in the design and fabrication of homes. Using computer-based fabrication, Massie explores the potential of efficient and precise prefabricated homes. His work is produced primarily in full scale, allowing immediate human reaction to the space.
William Massie: An American House ‘08 is on view now at Cranbrook Art Museum.
