When Classics Combine

From the sneaker world we learn that fusing two classics can, indeed, go terribly wrong. In furniture, however, Scandinavian firm Lyx proves that combining grand tradition and iconic design can form a new classic. The WING lounge chair takes from the long standing wing chairform and adds a splash of the famous Eames lounge. Its also certified by theSPACE FOUNDATION and uses the largest piece of bent wood in a chair, ever. Not too shabby. (via Six Different Ways).
