Thanks to Core 77, we learned about Semigood Design. The Seattle based firm began making hand made custom furniture, and has recently progressed to producing a marketable line. Working in wood only from FSC certified forests, the group is dedicated to sustainability and conservation. Each piece is still made to order, keeping an aura of the custom in the design product. Their cantilever stool is among many striking pieces.
