Kai and Sunny, the design duo behind the avant-garde fashion line
Call of the Wild, are very acclomplished print graphic designers as well. Some of their biggest clients are book publishers. Kai says, "for Sunny and I book cover design always gives us sense of freedom and enjoyment and the end product is always very satisfying. I think it must be the relationship between image and type that excites us the most. We have worked with many of the large publishers on both sides of the Atlantic and find a book cover is a great canvas for our work. Our most prolific series would have to be the series we did for David Mitchell a very respected author and has been nominated for many awards including the Booker Prize. This series was very nature based and we felt they linked very well. Most of our work has a connection with nature and shapes and limited colour palettes." See more from the series after the jump.
