We got looks at the Ralph Lauren US Olympic Opening Ceremony wardrobes in the form of drawings and on mannequins over the last couple of months, but with last Friday’s official Opening Ceremony we finally got to see them on America’s finest. There has been a slue of criticism all over the web about how the Polo logo dwarfed the Olympic rings and about the quality (or lack of quality) of the garments. I personally think it is all being overblown. Regardless, I think the United States was represented well in their classic sportswear, while other countries looked like they were in ethnic costumes and superhero get-ups.
