Punk Wars: Part 2

As if there weren’t enough twists and turns in the fake punk clothing story already, now Malcolm McLaren has accused his own son, Agent Provocateur founder Joe Corre, of selling fakes of his old clothing line.

McLaren states that "I think my son actually used – maybe – the original labels, because we didn’t use them all up, there’d be a roll of ribbon around in the workroom and maybe my son got a hold of those. I think he did this before he set up Agent Provocateur. Or in order to set up Agent Provocateur and fund it, he made a number of these fake clothes and sold them to dealers in Japan."

Joe Corre doesn’t deny that he made some Punk clothing to sell to dealers in Japan, but states that he did this with his mum, Vivienne Westwood and that none of these were fakes. He also said his dad "should be doing something else. I don’t know what he’s bothered about. Nobody else is". Via Brandish.
