James Murphy Design

Based in New York City, James Murphy designs and builds furniture that is informed by boat and aviation design. These interests are combined with a focus on traditional American craftsmanship and joinery. The result, a collection of furniture that melds great craftsmanship and an eye for inspired lines. All the prototypes for his current collection arecreated with local woods, milled by a retired fire fighter friend.
