Narrative are a U.K based footwear brand that were established four seasons ago. Its creator Scott Emerson previously worked as head buyer of men’s footwear at Kurt Geiger, which in turn controls the footwear concessions in Harrods, Liberty and Selfridges.
Made in Italy, Narrative pride themselves on being high quality product without an exorbitant price. The line is inspired by a mixture of luxury Japanese sportswear, workwear, an English classic look and mod-ish forms.
A noted point Scott made was that, “Most modern guys change their look from day to day – from tailored to American workwear, denim, classic and so on. I wanted to produce a comprehensive story (or narrative) that enabled the customer to cherry pick the right shoes from my collection to fit the moment.”

I’m a little annoyed with the lack of stocklisting of this brand. Of course this doesn’t stop me from being a huge fan and have about three pairs in my closet that I treasure, I wish there was a place/site with a comprehensive stocklist on display. The Narrative website has been under construction for as long as I can remember so what’s a boy to do?
