selectism - Koolhaas HouseLife

Rem Koolhaas’ The House in Bordeaux, built in 1998, is one of the masterpieces of contemporary architecture. Koolhass HouseLife makes the building the center stage for a film about living in and with an icon. Through the daily life of housekeeper Guadalupe Acedo, filmakers Louise Lemoine and Ila Beka are able to explore the changing nature of the home over time. It is a unique focus to a film that is essential about architecture. It is the first of a series titled "Living with Architectures" that proposes to change current trends in how high art buildings are viewed.

The DVD for Koolhass HouseLife comes together with a book. Still and page views after the jump.
