British designer Satyen kumar Patel is a former student of Central St. Martins, graduating in 2001. After working in Milan for the mainline Versace collection, he left and began consulting back in London, before eventually deciding to create his own collection using his first and middle names in 2006. The overall look of his collection is, in his own words, that of an ‘English eccentric play-boy’. This SS09 collection carries on that theme, featuring plenty of stripes and oversized schoolboy like blazers.

  1. This is quite possibly one of the most hideous — and simultaneously ridiculous — collections I have ever seen in my life. Is anyone expected to take this seriously?

    Seriously?
