We might as well call it “hard” ware. The very best of workwear continues to re-filter onto the shores of the USA. Self Edge is bringing it back home with these “Made in SF” Chambray Shirts. “Our take on a classic western chambray shirt stays true to classic stylings but adds a few twists. The front pockets have been flipped, pocket flaps are a curved arcuate shape, and the buttons are a little different than what’s normally found on a vintage shirt like this” Available now in long and short sleeve from Self Edge.

Cool and all, but Self Edge is ridiculously overpriced. Home of the $300 jean… and this shirt if $180. Maybe I\’m picking, but the arm length on the model is way too long. If you are going to spend this much on a work style shirt, might as well go custom. You\’ll get the same look with a better fit. Or if you just want to rock the work shirt look, get a Navy issue for $8 and have it tailored.

…or even closer, rock one of the Wrangler chambray authentic cut shirts for < $30:
